Pop Art!

In 5th and 6th grades we’re learning about the Pop Art movement and the work of Andy Warhol.  We measured soda pop bottles and recorded data to help us make realistic, proportionate drawings.  We’ll later color them using tertiary color schemes, which we’ve been working on this unit.  The students had fun working together and looking with their artists’ eyes to turn an everyday item into art!

I am St. Aloysius School's art teacher for grades K-8. It is a joy to bring art instruction to our students.
