What a year for the books! Despite Covid, these fifth graders rose to the occasion. I’m so proud of their resiliency.
To my Fifth turned Sixth graders, now that it is summertime, don’t forget all your hard work this year. Keep reading, learning, and staying curious. Read regularly, because it keeps your mind sharp. Play often, it keeps you healthy in body and spirit, and don’t forget to pray, it helps keep you connected to your creator. Reading, playing and praying will help prepare you for Sixth grade!
Check out our Homeroom Google Classroom for links to Khan Academy for Math, Funbrain, Mr. Nussbaum, Ducksters and the Smithsonian for some virtual tours from your couch. Challenge yourself to learn something new each day and don’t forget to be safe and make smart choices!
Have a great summer!
Love, Mrs. Padon
