Hello, My name is Lucy Stark. I started working in the infant room 2018 when our new ELC building first opened. I moved to Post Falls, ID In April of 2018 from Oak Harbor Washington, Whidbey Island, where I lived and I worked since February of 1997. My family was a Navy Family and I worked for NAS Whidbey CDC family home care and CDC child development center for over twenty one years as a teacher and lead teacher before retiring. I have a general education AA Degree and also very close to completing an AA Degree in Early Childhood as well and BS degree in Management. When I first started my career in Early Childhood our CDH program piloted the first modules that later became 'Teaching Strategies Gold' used to form the basis curriculum being taught in our colleges in Washington State for our Early Childhood Degrees. Our program at NAS Whidbey also piloted a visual training which we used for teaching our teachers their continued education in Early childhood; I was in a few of those videos too. My hope is to help our program achieve highest standards. The blessings for myself is working for my 'faith in action community' to fulfill God's Will for our families and their children.
