Happy Monday Second Grade Families,
What a blessing it was to wake up this morning and see a clear blue sky! I am thankful for the smoke passing and for the firefighters who worked tirelessly to put out the fires. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that you were able to reset for the week.
This week, we will be talking about sorting and graphing in math. The students will be creating their own Beetle Glyph to match their personality! We will be continuing to work with these Beetles next week on Seesaw. For GLAD, we will continue to discuss the Honeybee and learn all about the Killer Bee!
I am looking forward to our first school mass of the year on Thursday. I will be taking Cohort B to the church to enjoy mass in-person. I encourage Cohort A to watch the live stream on the St. Aloysius Parish Website!
A few announcements for the week:
- The uniform exchange will be open on Tuesday, September 22nd from 2:30-3:30 PM. You will need to wear a mask and enter at the door on Dakota street. There will be someone at the door to let you in!
