The last day we had in-school instruction was March 16th, 2020. I had it on my board, frozen in time. When we departed, I was so hopeful that the separation would be short-lived. It wasn’t. I want you all to know that even though we were not able to end our year the way we envisioned, I am so proud of how we came together in this time of crisis to do what was needed for the sake of our community.
What a blessing it has been to watch from a distance and witness our students and families living out our school mission and striving to be good, and do good, and make a difference.
Graduation was so different this year, but it was filled with faith, joy, hope, honks, and above all, love. We were able to see the love you have for your child, and the other students in their class, and we hope you could feel the love we have for them, and for you. It was a true celebration of their accomplishments, and who they are as a child of God.
I hope as we move into summer that you are able to relax your body and mind in a way you have not been able to do, rejuvenate your spirit, and reflect on the truly wonderful gifts God has bestowed upon us.
Blessings to you as you help your child spread their wings and fly….to high school and beyond.
In God’s Peace,
