Apr. 20th-24th
Happy Monday second grade families and welcome to week 5! I know this is not what our ideal year together would’ve looked like, but I truly appreciate all of your continuous support of me and our school. I have given a sample schedule in the newsletter with different focus areas for each day of the week. I recommend about 60 minutes of schoolwork a day for 2nd graders. I believe this amount of time is age appropriate. I have suggested focusing on reading and writing Monday/Wednesday, math and science on Tuesday/Thursday, and religion, choice, and P.E. on Friday. Please see the newsletter for more information. I will be sending each of you a log-in password for our class page on the website Seesaw. This will be great way for me to see student work and give them feedback. I have assigned an introduction activity to help you and your child learn how to navigate through the app. Please have them complete the activity by Friday, May 1st.
