Feb. 10th-14th

Happy Monday second grade families! What an amazing weekend some of the second graders had receiving their First Communion and the sacrament of Confirmation. It was an absolute joy to witness this big moment in their faith journeys. Last week, we shared our Saint projects with our classmates. I was blown away by the amount of time and creativity each student put into their project. Today, we will be sharing our projects with other classes to practice our presentation skills!

In math, we will be starting a new unit called Thinking in Threes. Students will create their own paper snowman to add to a class chart. The students will begin thinking about repeated addition and multiplication.

We will be having our class Valentine’s Day party on Wednesday at 1:45 PM. Students may bring in Valentines to pass out to the class. We will be having treats and playing games! Students may also wear RED AND PINK FREE DRESS on Wednesday.

*Due to the short week, there will be no regular homework packet
