Friendship Is a Gift

Hello Kinder Families.

It has been a busy few weeks in All Day Kindergarten. Last week, we celebrated our Catholic faith with many joyful activities that reminded us how much Jesus loves us and calls us to share His love with others. A Holy Spirit moment for me was seeing the kinders’ faces light up when their ‘Special Person’ walked through the door to spend the morning with them. This generous gift of time touched our hearts!

It is now February, and we are actively putting our reading and writing skills to work. We are learning that friendship is a gift and author Mo Wilhems is helping us to treasure our friends as we read and giggle our way through his wonderful Elephant and Piggie books. We have been learning how to build a good sentence and how to recognize the speaker in a speech bubble. Now we will use our knowledge to write notes to our friends and leave them in each other’s mailboxes. A great way to affirm one another and practice our writing skills at the same time.

Thank you Parents for working in partnership and sharing your most precious gifts with us!

In gratitude,

Mrs. Kraut
