Thank you Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge for teaching us all about mammals this morning! We had such a great time learning about characteristics of mammals and how they are different from other animals. We listened to animal sounds, studied animal skulls, and even got to feel some animal fur! Most of our students were even brave enough to reach into the magic box and feel a mystery object (that turned out to be a coyote skull!). We feel so blessed to have had this learning opportunity for our students. What a great day in second grade!
