Newsletter week of 2/4-2/8

Happy Monday families! We had an amazing week last week with all the excitement surrounding Catholic Schools Week. It is such a joy getting to celebrate our Catholic identity and honor our teachers, parents, and students. We hope the students had fun dressing up for each spirit day! It was fun seeing their creativity shine!

This week we are back to a normal schedule. There is a homework packet this week with spelling words and a reading log, but there is no math homework this week. Continue working on the dinosaur project which is due February 28th.  Book orders went home today! If you are interested in ordering books please submit your order by Thursday, February 14th. Ordering online is quick and easy! Just use our class code V77V9 to find our class and we can submit all our orders at once. This helps us to earn points so we can earn free books for our classroom! It’s a win for everyone!

A few reminders for this week:

  • The St. Al’s auction is this Friday, February 8th in the Garco Gym.
  • Please remember to label all sweatshirts and coats with your child’s first and last name. We have an abundance of sweatshirts in the closet with no names. This makes it difficult for us to return sweatshirts and coats to their rightful owners.
  • There will be no school Friday, February 15th due to teacher in-service.
  • There will be no school Monday, February 18th for President’s Day.

The newsletter is attached below. Thank you for reading it each week!
