Wintertime Artist’s Studies

Hello St. Aloysius Families,

Winter is a great time for artist’s studies, ranging from Van Gogh (Kindergarten)to Monet (Second and MAC) to da Vinci (Third) all the way to Kandinsky (First). We read Barb Rosenstock’s classic picture book about Kandinsky, The Noisy Paintbox, and created our own abstract works of art while listening to Russian composers Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. What a wonderful way to start off another great year of art!

I am St. Aloysius School's art teacher for grades K-8. It is a joy to bring art instruction to our students.
