Happy Halloween!

Happy last week of October! This last month we have been studying all about communities and how to create a fun and positive community in second grade. We were able to see that wonderful community building at our Hallowfest event. Thank you to everyone who volunteered! We could not do Hallowfest without you.

Some important dates to note:

  • This Wednesday is Halloween! Students may wear orange and/or black free dress to school. Our Halloween party will take place in the afternoon. We can already sense the student’s excitement!
  • This Thursday is our All Saints Mass which will begin at 12:15 at St. Aloysius Church. We will be walking over at 11:45 and you are more than welcome to walk over to the church with us!
  • Conferences are November 8th and 9th. Kelli Kelly sent out the conference schedule last week to your email. If your time does not work, please contact Kelli Kelly to have your time changed.
  • Wednesday is the last day that shorts may be worn to school. Please make arrangements for your child to start wearing pants beginning on Thursday.

Our newsletter for this week is attached below. One new feature we have added to our newsletter is our “Partnering Tips” section. In this section, we have included conversation starters or ways that you can partner with us to ensure your child’s success in school.
