Second Grade Paper Sculptures

The second graders are continuing to explore collage as an art form, but now we’re “taking it to the next level,” by creating FORM.  We discussed that the 3D’s in 3-D are height, width, and depth, and we used paper strips to build up three-dimensional forms off the paper.  They were so proud of how they folded, twisted, and glued their strips to create unique works of art!

I am St. Aloysius School's art teacher for grades K-8. It is a joy to bring art instruction to our students.
