Newsletter Week of 10/22-10/26

Happy Monday families!

We can’t believe how fast October is flying by. There are a lot of fun activities coming up and we want to make sure everyone is up to date on everything happening both in our classroom and school-wide.

Important Information:

  • This Friday, October 26th, is Hallowfest. This is a St. Al’s tradition that is a wonderful community building event. Students are allowed to wear their costumes to Hallowfest, but please note that students wear their uniforms to school on Friday. We also ask that children are supervised by parents during this event; please do not drop your children off. The event goes from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. You are welcome to stop by at anytime 🙂
  • On Tuesday, October 23rd, we will be conducting our evacuation drill. This drill will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately one hour. You will not be allowed to drop off/pick up your child during this drill. Please plan accordingly.
  • This Thursday, October 25th, the African Children’s Choir will be performing during an assembly at 10:00 a.m. in the Garco Gym. We are so blessed to have them come to our school!
  • Next week, students may wear Orange and Black free dress to school on Wednesday, October 31st. This is also the day of our Halloween Party! Thank you to everyone who volunteered to bring supplies; we could not have this party without your help!

We have attached the newsletter for this week. Thank you for continuing to read it every week.
