8th Grade News

Hello Parents,
Our first four days of school were a success.  I think we are all starting to get into our new school year routines.  The students were extremely happy to see the arrival of the new lockers.   What a gift for our kids.  Please remind your student that valuables should be left at home as we do not lock our lockers at St. Aloysius.
Here are a couple of dates for you to put on your calendar:
1.  Wednesday, September 12th at 6:00 — back to school night
2.  Thursday, September 27th we are having a half-day retreat in the afternoon for our 7th and 8th graders.  We will stay on the Gonzaga campus after our all school Mass.  (More info to come).
3.  Thursday, September 27th at 5:30– 8th grade meeting (different information than back to school night).  This meeting is important as we discuss the events we participate in as 8th graders, fundraising ideas, and we will talk about our end-of-the-year 8th grade retreat.
8th grade is a fun-filled year, but it is also a very busy year.  I like to meet at the beginning of the year to share important dates, answer questions, and so we have an opportunity to meet each other.
Blessings,
Mrs. Dixon
