Science/Nature: We will be doing a volcano experiment where we will learn how volcanoes erupt. We will also be doing vegetable explorations.
Faith Focus: Our faith focus will be about how we celebrate Valentine’s Day. This is a story about how God would want us to all love one another.
Stories: Our stories for the week are Growing Vegetable Soup, Mole Music; This Is The Van That Dad Cleaned, The Vegetables We Eat, Arthur’s Valentine, One Zillion Valentines and Hug Time.
Special Activities/Dates to remember: We will be closed on Monday February 19th in observance of President’s Day.
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Tuesday February 13th, as Ash Wednesday is on the 14th. If your child would like to bring in Valentine’s cards, they may do so! We have 22 children in our class, please leave the “To” line blank, and fill out the “From” line only. This makes it easier for children to hand them out!
Super Tots: The Tigers had a wonderful time in their first class! Please remember that our super tots days are on Wednesdays from 11:00-11:30 please dress your child for sports on those days.
Thank you for allowing us to foster your child’s learning.
Miss Kim, Miss Emily and Miss Karen.
