Homework
2nd week of school: There is no school on Monday 9/6. Back to School Night is 9/9 7th grade language arts homework: We will work in our anthology books this week studying folktales. Read the story on page 268 and complete questions on oral tradition. Read 2 short stories on pages 482-495 and complete questions on theme. On Thursday students will need to watch and map the plot line of a TV show. I will go over this in class, but yes the homework is to watch TV! 7th grade Religion: We will spend time this week getting to know our class buddies in the MAC class. The 8th grade will lead the school in our all school Mass at St. Aloysius church on Friday 9/10 at. 10:15. Please join us if you are able. 8th grade language arts: We wil review folktales this week and students will have the option of working in the anthology or creating and sharing their own folktales. Anthology work: pg. 358-371 questions on folktales. pg. 366-367 creative writing on pg. 367. pg. 399-404 ques. 1,2,3 or On Tuesday create your own folktale to be shared with the class on Friday. Practice strong story telling skills. Have a great week! |
