Learn.Serve.Lead.Succeed. That was the theme for the 2018 Catholic Schools Week and St. Aloysius was filled with activity! We began our celebration by joining our parish community at Sunday mass. Our Liturgy Leadership sang, our students from ELC-8th grade greeted mass goers, and we shared donuts and juice after mass. On Monday, we celebrated our nation by having Air Force Master Sargeant Tim Tyvan come and talk to us about his service to our nation at Monday Morning Prayer. If you were to walk the halls this week, you may have run into a tacky tourist, Captain America or Wonder Woman, a Seahawks sports fan, or someone expressing themselves by dressing as their inner dancer. Our all school mass included special persons and grandparents, who were treated to a tour of our new facility. Doors were decorated, we danced and played Minute to Win it games and relays at our Student Appreciation assembly where hungry hippos were fed, marshmallows were dropped, cotton balls scooped and sticky notes were stuck. Leadership planned, designed games and led the assembly. Fun was had by all!
