Tigers Weekly Newsletter November 6-10th

Tigers Class Family News Week of November 6-10, 2017

Thank you to all the families who sent in Halloween treats for the children last week! It was fun to add in Halloween snacks and games (complete with prizes!) for our day! Also, thank you to Corbin’s mom for helping with our morning!

Next week we will learn letter “Yy” with a focus on yellow, yams, yogurt and yak.

For our science/cooking project we will make yogurt parfaits! Please see the sign-up sheet in our class for items needed!

We will be changing our Halloween house into a Thanksgiving house, complete with cookbooks and aprons!

For the month, we will be working to complete child assessments, with a due date of December 1st. Please ask if you have any questions or concerns.

We also will begin practicing for our Christmas program! A copy of the song lyrics will be placed in your child’s cubby so you can practice at home (or in the car!). Our program is scheduled for Wednesday December 6th, at approximately 5:50pm. More details to follow.

Miss Kim may be absent during this week and next, as she has been called to Jury Duty.

Dates to remember:

Friday November 10th, ELC closed, Veterans Day Holiday

Thursday November 23rd and Friday November 24th, ELC closed, Thanksgiving Holiday

Wednesday December 6th, ELC and Montessori Christmas program

As always, thank you for allowing us to foster your child’s early learning! Have a wonderful weekend!

Miss Kim, Miss Emily, and Miss Karen
