Dear Parents and Second Graders,

Thank you to all who signed up for a time at Hallowfest.  We still have some times available for volunteer hours.  The sign-up list is outside our classroom door.  Hallowfest is this Friday, October 27th.  We hope to see you all there.

We have a homework packet due Friday, October 27th.  We will have a spelling test this Friday.

We completed the seven sacrament posters.  They did a wonderful job on them.  They are on display on the hall bulletin board.  We read Alexander and the Terrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day.  The students wrote their own story on “My Wonderful, Super, Colossal, Terrific, and Awesome Day!”  We also wrote thank you letters to the military thanking them for serving our country.  We also made them a Christmas Card.  We made “cat center pieces” for Halloween fun.  We are continuing all our Bridges Math activities and practicing our Phonics/Reading skills.  Second Grade Rocks!

Blessings to all,

Mrs. Diane Weber
