News 5/30

Dear Parents,
I hope you had a restful and rejuvenating three day weekend. I was blessed to attend my nephew’s graduation and also take a moment to reflect on all those who have passed away and how they impacted so many lives.

This will be an exciting week as we prepare for Fund Run on Friday. I would like to thank you and your children for all your support of this key fundraiser. We have already raised almost $40,000 for our school operating budget.

I would like to remind you to carbo load on Thursday evening at Papa Murphy’s pizza located at 2018 N Ruby St. Also, the day of Fund Run, cool off after running with a delicious yogurt or drink at Froyo located at 829 E Boone. Both of these businesses are offering a share of their proceeds back to the school. We are so grateful for our wonderful community partners that help make this event possible!

Hope you all can join us this Friday morning and watch your child run. We are also still in need of volunteers so please contact Aleisha Webb if you are interested. Parking will be very limited on this day due to construction. If possible, I encourage you to park offsite to ease congestion.

This morning our Acts of Mercy winners were: Tyson Weichman, Isabella Langford and Cadence Paluch.

In Christ’s Peace,
Angie Krauss
