Week of May 22-26, 2017

Theme: Insects

Theme Description:

  • We will talk about insects, and the difference between insects and arachnids.
  •  We will work on writing the letter Ii.




During the month of May, will will honor Mary. We will discuss the importance of Mary, the mother of Jesus.



  • Spring assessments are going great.
  • Our Fund Run will be on June 2nd.  We invite you to root on your child.
  • We will be closed on Monday May 29th, in observance of Memorial Day.



Kindergarten Registration:

It’s that time of year again!  Kindergarten registration, for the 2017-18 school year, is in full swing!   If you plan to send your child to Kindergarten at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic School, it is important to fill out and return the registration packet as soon as possible.



Help us BREAK GROUND by JUNE 14!

We need 300 individuals/families to give $1000+ to raise $300,000 by June 14th

the last day of school.  We have raised  $214,000  to date

So much GROUNDBREAKER CHALLENGE excitement happening at St. Al’s right now! Will your name be on the wall this week?

We are out of tissues for our classroom any donations would be wonderful.

We are low on wet wipes any donations would be appreciated.



With the weather getting warmer please sunscreen your child before they come to school.  Miss Candy and I can reapply mid-day if you choose to bring sunscreen.You will have to fill out a medication form in order for us to apply it,  Our outside recess times are 9:15 am and 3:45 pm.  


Extra Clothes:

With the weather getting warmer please take your child’s extra clothing box home and update the clothing inside.
