Catholic Schools Week: Sunday January 29th thru Friday February 3rd

Sunday:         parish appreciation day

  • 8:30 and 11am Masses, snacks provided by St. Al’s school after

Monday:          community appreciation day

  • Begin winter gear collection, please send donations
  • Classroom door decorating begins. Theme is celebrating our family members who have served our nation. Please bring a photo or draw a picture of a family member who has served or is serving in our military, police, fire fighters, etc. We will use patriotic colors. Judging will be Wednesday by 3:00.
  • Children can wear Jesuit community wear: GU, G-Prep or St. Aloysius

Tuesday:         faculty, staff, volunteers appreciation day

  • Teachers wear hand-made shirts. These have been decorated by children at the school.
  • Children can wear hero clothing: superhero, book, movie or real life. Prize given to 1 boy and 1 girl in the ELC.
  • Bring in winter gear donations
  • Bring in photo for our patriotic door.

Wednesday:   nation appreciation day

  • Children can wear favorite sports/team jersey as sports is our national pastime!
  • Doors will be judged, ELC 1st and 2nd places
  • Bring in winter gear donations

Thursday:       student appreciation day

  • Classroom activities
  • Bring in winter gear donations

Friday:            Grandparents/Special Persons day

  • 8:30-8:40       adult social gathering in the gym
  • 8:40-9:05       adults join children in classroom, juice and cinnamon rolls
  • 9:05-9:35       adults may tour the school with their child
  • 10:00am          Mass at St. Aloysius Church, families are welcome to attend
  • 5:30pm           St. Aloysius Catholic School auction, Convention Center
