Week of Jan. 9-13 2017
Theme: Winter Wonderland
We will learn about what we can do outside in the snow.
Our letter this week is the letter Ee.
- The School and ELC will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16th, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
- Fall assessments are completed and we are available to answer any questions.
- In class we are working on learning different shapes, while reviewing letters and their sounds and numbers 1-10. Thank you for reviewing at home also.
Our auction is on Friday, February 3rd; the Bumblebee project is a beach bag. We are asking for donations of beach towels, reusable water bottle, pail and shovel, and sunscreen.
With the snow outside, please make sure your child has a warm coat, hat, and gloves, boots and snowpants to wear outside to recess. We go outside in the mornings around 9:15 and again in the afternoon around 3:20. We also go outside at those times as long as the temperature is above 20 including wind chill.
Show and Tell:
Please take the show and tell calendar in your child’s cubby. Miss Candy and I have decided that every child will have one day that is there day to share. When it is not your child’s day please keep toys at home so they do not get lost or broken.
This week in Religion we are discussing How God always loves us.
We will be working on writing numbers and playing different games to build mathematical skills.
