December 12th- 16th

Dear Owl’s Families,

This week

We will continue telling the story of the first Christmas. We will discuss the true meaning of Christmas and read stories about Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem, Jesus’ birth, the angels appearing  to the shepherds, and the star that led the people to the stable where Jesus was born.

This week we will “light” our 3rd week of Advent for Joy. We will have a small Birthday to celebrate Jesus’ Birthday with Cake!!!

Letter of the Week

This week we will focus on the letter “Cc” for Christmas.  We will work on the “Cc” letter sound and think of words that begin with that sound.  We will also read the letter “Jj” book and play what’s missing with the letter “Cc” sound tub.

With the weather getting colder, please remember to bring coats, mittens, hats, and boots and snow pants to school when needed.

For the protection of all children in our care, this is a reminder that we ask you to please keep your child home if sick.
