“Every weakness you have is an opportunity for God
to show his strength in your life.”
Message from Principal Angie Krauss:
Our staff so enjoyed visiting with you at conferences last week. From our conversations, we learned ways to more fully support your child and come alongside you as a family unit. We value your input, and please know the door is always open.
We will be attaching a survey link about an after school Spanish program that is available for our students beginning in January. The program would run for approximately eight weeks. If you are interested in pursuing this option for your child, please fill out the survey below.
Please know you are always welcome to join us for Monday morning prayer. It’s a great way to start your week. We begin at 8:40 in the gym. Each month, a different class leads us in worship, and we begin our time together with music from our liturgy leaders.
This morning, we recognized the following students at Monday Morning prayer for their Acts of Mercy: Winter Henry, Addy DeCaro and Julia Few.
This week, the toddlers will be gluing feathers on turkeys for Thanksgiving. We will also be wearing brown on Wednesday to celebrate our color of the month
This week, we will be learning all about turkeys! We will do lots of fun art projects with feathers, painting, and more!
This week in preschool, we will be talking about what it means to be thankful, and discussing the things we are thankful for. We will also read the story of the first Thanksgiving. Along with this story, we will be discussing what the Pilgrims might have been thankful for and why we celebrate Thanksgiving today. The children will also have a chance to share with the class the different ways they celebrate Thanksgiving and how it is similar or different from the Pilgrims.
This week we will review our previously learned letters, focus on our individual child assessments, and celebrate Thanksgiving and family.
We will talk about being thankful and what we are thankful for. We have been reading thanksgiving books. The letter of the week is “Tt”.
Tigers will be learning the letter “Tt” this week! We will also be sharing things we are thankful for. Our fun craft will be making turkey masks!
