This week is all about Halloween. We will read stories, sing songs, and enjoy many scary crafts during the week. Monday the 31st, we will celebrate Halloween with our class party. We have a sign up sheet on top of our outside cubbies.
Letter of the week is “Hh” for Halloween. We will think of things that start with” Hh”, read the letter “Hh” book, and play what’s missing with the letter sound tub.
Religion: We will be discussing “The Christian Origins of Halloween”
Please have your children leave their toys at home, they are becoming very distracting at circle time. They can bring ONE for nap, but needs to stay in their bedding. Fridays is share day and they can bring something to share, but we ask for it to stay in their cubbies. Thank you for working with us on this.
Individual student assessments: We will be starting our fall student assessments! Because this is the first of 3, (we will do a winter and spring assessment) it will give us a tool to guide the areas your child may need to improve on throughout the year.
